In July 2023, the document "A New European Vision for Touring" was presented by 8 European organisations. There are two tax topics mentioned:
(1) Withholding tax and double taxation
(2) VAT issues.
This panel will discuss these topics in a panel with representatives from some of these organisations, such as from EMEE, EMMA and IMPALA. What are the problems, which examples do we have and what solutions are available?
The panel will be very practical, both with the examples and available solutions. We need to take away the double taxation and administrative hassle for performing artists.
